Receiving acupuncture from Dr. Tian has become the highlight of my week. She is compassionately caring, clearly knowledgeable and expertly skilled. Having had acupuncture before, I made the change to see Dr. Tian after my Georgetown cancer team highly recommended her. I am so glad they did. She has helped me heal from a challenging surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.Her practice is extremely streamlined, making every visit calming and positive. Her staff are the nicest and most cheerful people. They are so efficient and, like Dr. Tian, know exactly how to take care of patients.Her office is spotless. It is 2023 and they are still serious about their COVID protocols and cleaning. I feel safe 100% of the time when I'm here.Hot tips: - When the front desk recommends you schedule in advance, do it. Like most of my doctors, they are booked out in advance.- Follow her nutritional advice. I went to various dietitians and nutritionists and only Dr. Tian's advice worked for me.

Dr. Tian is a compassionate healer and my absolute favorite doctor. She has given me better results than any previous acupuncturist I have used. She is deeply caring and will go out of her way to help me, when she really does not have to. She is always humble and says it's not her care I'm benefiting from, it's that the medicine is working for me. She is incredibly gentle and treatments are comfortable and relaxing. I trust her 100% with her medical suggestions. Her staff are professional, polite, and caring as well. Her practice is exceptional. I highly recommend her and am glad I have her on my healthcare team!

After being given a list of recommended oncology acupuncturists, I tried them all before deciding on care with Dr. Tian. I chose Dr. Tian because she is gentle with treatments and knowledgeable with updated research. She is professional, compassionate, and caring. She helps me remain hopeful and positive. The office is immaculate and filled with the best healing energy. Her team is professional and wonderful.

Dr. Tian is a professional, patient, compassionate, skilled doctor. She has completely fixed my chronic pelvic region pain that dozens of other specialists and physical therapists could not help. She had a completely refreshing approach that worked. Everything she has ever told me to do has helped. Often times you love the doctor but not their practice. Not the case for Dr. Tian. The practice is professional, the office is immaculate, her staff is kind and fantastic, the herbal teas and snacks are great. This is the only doctors office I've ever looked forward to visiting. I have great confidence in her abilities and recommend her to all of my friends and family.

First off, no one ever warns you fertility treatments can be a journey. My husband and I would thought it was just go get IVF and be done. That is not the case! Two failed cycles in, our fertility center suggested I try acupuncture with Dr. Tian. She came highly recommended from the other acupuncturists on the list by my doctor and nurse. We are very glad we listened. Dr. Tian is nurturing, supportive, kind and radiantly positive. She understands the emotional and physical toll the process takes on women and treats both. She changes her treatments to match meds and timing of cycle. We did need to wait a few weeks for the consultation, but it was well worth it. We wish we started seeing her sooner! But, we will remember that for our next baby, we will start earlier with Dr. Tian!

I have been seeing Dr. Tian for over a decade at several practices in the DMV. This is my favorite location. The center is always immaculate and beautiful. They have handcrafted herbal teas that change based on the seasons. The staff are fabulously professional, efficient, and kind. Peter is extraordinary in managing every aspect of my appointments easy. Dr. Tian is deeply passionate about the care she gives. She is an expert in her field and loves her medicine. She gives me lifestyle education and nutritional advice that I have shared with my friends. Her blog has become a regular topic of discussion for us. I highly recommend Dr. Tian and this practice. She has changed my life!

Dr. Tian is a fantastic doctor who pairs her deep knowledge of medicine and healing with her patient and compassionate demeanor. I have been following her from practice to practice for 10 years. At hew new practice, the staff are fantastic. Her practice manager, Peter is the kindest and most efficient person I've met. Getting care here is seamless and peaceful. I strongly recommend this doctor and her practice. They should be given accolades for their exceptional patient care.

I am grateful I found Dr. Tian. She is compassionate and passionate about healing. She is gentle, looks at the big picture, and focuses on safe remedies. The cupping and acupuncture makes me feel refreshed every time, like I can feel the toxins leaving my body. Peter at the reception is wonderful and friendly. The practice is clean and has great COVID protocols. This makes a difference to me, as I am taking immune suppressing medications.

Great staff, pristine office, expert provider. My whole family now sees Dr. Tian and we all love our acupuncture treatments.

I went to Dr. Tian for sciatica after reading some reviews. The pain is now gone, I feel happier and more relaxed than I have in my life, and lost 20 pounds of unwanted weight without even trying. I am 67 years old and gave up on losing weight since it was such a struggle. I told Dr. Tian and she said that acupuncture helps with weight loss too.

I was at another practice in the same building and had acupuncture for 2 months and did not see any changes. They were innetwork for my insurance so I stuck it out there as long as I could. But I finally decided to try Dr. Tian and was given a completely different treatment plan. I didn't tell her I had seen another acupuncturist until the end of my treatments with her. I asked why those months spent seeing someone else didn't work but yet I had great results with her. She answered respectfully that she was not sure. Moral of the story, pick the doctor with more experience and better credentials.

I have been receiving acupuncture during my cancer treatments and have been feeling surprisingly great. I did not get many chemo side effects or lose range of motion after surgery and radiation, which surprised my entire medical team. Only my oncologist pointed out it was due to the acupuncture I was receiving and said she saw many patients with similar results as me when seeing Dr. Tian. Even though no one referred me to acupuncture, my oncologist was happy to hear I was getting treatments with Dr. Tian. I'm super grateful I have the energy to play with my kids and go about my regular life and I'm positive Dr. Tian's support was the main factor.

After moving to this area, I was looking for a new acupuncturist but could not get a referral so had to shop around. I visited several practices who were in various levels of cleanliness, told me mixed things about my insurance, and one even told me Dr. Tian worked at their practice in order to get me in as a patient, which she does not. When I made it to Dr. Tian's office, I was relieved to find a professionally run office that is clean, trustworthy with compassionate staff. Dr. Tian, herself, is easy to communicate with. She focuses on my health goals, whereas some others wanted to treat me for what they believe my health goals should be. Her office is busy but safe with all patients fully masked and screened at each appointment. The staff also wears face shields with masks. The treatments were great, I felt relaxed and floating after each session. She gave me substantial nutritional and lifestyle advice at the initial consultation which has helped me greatly.

Dr. Tian was referred to me by my oncologist for my painful neuropathy which left me limping and barely able to walk a few feet without stumbling. After a long detailed evaluation, she was honest with me said she was not sure the treatments would help me much. I respect that because she could have told me to try sessions, which my insurance did not cover, and made money off of me, but she did not. I didn't have many options left according to my oncologist, so I decided to take the chance and try the acupuncture. I followed her treatment plan and nutritional guidelines. I'm absolutely thrilled with my results. I can walk quite a distance with ease. Her entire office is so professional in every situation I've seen. The clinic is always clean and peaceful. I've chatted with several of her other patients outside in the hallway and they seemed to love her. I'm impressed by her skill and practice.

I've had several spine surgeries which had limited success in managing my pain. My neurosurgeon told me to try acupuncture and said with certainty Dr. Tian was his only recommendation. I am a huge skeptic of acupuncture so did not call immediately. My urologist then told me I should try acupuncture and also only recommended Dr. Tian. I did not want to drive from Arlington to Bethesda for treatments, but I am glad I finally did. My pain is almost gone. Treatments were relaxing, office was exceptionally clean, friendly and competent office staff. I drive 45 minutes each way to see her and it's worth it. Her office is great, the staff are friendly and helpful. It took me 4 weeks to get onto her schedule but I'm glad to be able to walk, bend, and do more than I have in years.

I was referred by my primary care doctor to a list of acupuncturists. I did my research and tried 3, including Dr. Tian. Dr. Tian exceeded my expectations in every way. She is professional, explains thoroughly, and understood my condition clearly. She had a research centric treatment plan and gave gentle treatments that left me relaxed and comfortable each time. Her office is the best run medical office I've seen yet. Extremely clean, safe and with kind and helpful front desk staff. I wish all my doctor's offices had staff like hers. I'm impressed with how busy her office is, yet, she still has time to call me after business hours to answer questions. It took me weeks to get onto her schedule, but her front desk diligently helped me.  They thoroughly explained my insurance and submitted claims and collected copays, even though she's out of network. The other acupuncturists on the list were in-network, and I would have paid less, but I decided my health was worth having the best.

My neurologist referred me to Dr. Tian for nerve pain that started after I got a COVID booster. I've never felt pain so strange or severe before, except for shingles. In fact, this felt like I had shingles all over my body. I had tried acupuncture elsewhere years ago in DC for another condition and was skeptical about trying it again. My consultation with Dr. Tian was thorough and I was given changes for my diet and lifestyle. She recommended we start with a trial of acupuncture sessions to see how I would respond to acupuncture. She explained how acupuncture interacts with nervous system and immune system. I was quite impressed with her knowledge and explanations. Her office staff are upbeat and detail-oriented. They clean a lot. The space is almost entirely white and spotless with the exception of the plants. Dr. Tian doesn't just have healing hands, she apparently has a green thumbs as well. I've received lifestyle, medical, and gardening advice from her. Remarkable experience.

I have been getting acupuncture for years in DC, but was referred to Dr. Tian by my doctor. Dr. Tian is professional and knowledgeable. She has an obvious abundance of experience and explains everything well. Her technique is great, it’s the first time I’ve experienced painless acupuncture which she humbly says is more about the needles she uses than her technique. She cares about her patients and you can feel it each time you visit. I noticed many of her other patients were referred to as “Dr.”by the front desk and were doctors wearing badges and scrubs. I jokingly say that I have finally found a secret acupuncture club that all the doctors seem to know about!

I was referred to Dr. Tian by my fertility center and had an amazing experience. I am over 40 and have tried to get pregnant through IVF multiple times with acupuncture. Several failed cycles and one miscarriage later, I decided to call Dr. Tian's office. I had a wonderful experience with the office staff. They are on top of everything all the time. The COVID protocols are excellent and the office is spotless. My experience with Dr. Tian was unlike any other doctor. I felt like she was invested in my fertility success and went out of her way to assist me when my fertility center told me I could not proceed with retrieval. She made me feel supported when others made me feel that I was too old to get pregnant. I have had acupuncture before with others but Dr. Tian's level of knowledge was uniquely greater. I am pregnant and due in the upcoming months.

Dr Tian is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. She is timely, her office is immaculate, and her staff is friendly and efficient.
