I would not recommend - but especially do not contact if you have ever experienced suicidal ideation, as she will not work with you. I had a very disturbing initial call with her. I shared a fair amount of my history, reporting past trauma. After I recounted things that are very hard to share, she THEN stated she had a series of questions she needed to ask to see if she thought we would be compatible - one of which was whether I'd ever experienced suicidal ideation. I disclosed that I had, although not for years, and she declined to work with me. These questions should have been immediate if they were disqualifying, before I went through the process of sharing parts of a painful past. This rejection for a very common, nonrecent experience was very distressing. A better therapist would have also checked in to ensure I had supports available, or at least that I was ok before hanging up, as I may be in a heightened state, having discussed difficult things. I do believe I dodged a bullet!!
