Outstanding eye exam. Much more thorough than any I have ever had from an MD Ophthalmologist. Spend at least double the time examining my eyes as any ophthalmologist had devoted to past exams.

I decided to try a new eye doctor after moving to the east side of Syracuse and found Dr. Shiomos in East Syracuse under my insurance providers. He is the contact lens specialist for the CNY Eye Care group. I felt like he and his assistant were apathetic and almost robotic. I paid my insurance co-payment for the comprehensive exam, but later received a bill for another $40 for a "contact lens exam." I have been a lens wearer for 20 years and was not changing products. Bogus fee!
