I saw Clarisse for two sessions for medication maintenance. At the time, I had an 11 month old son. I won't go in to detail, but she told me I was not being a good mom and I had ruined my son's sleep for life. Talk about upsetting. She never asked if he had any underlying health concerns, if I was breastfeeding, she didn't ask me ANY questions, just jumped to the conclusion that I was a bad mom. After the call I asked her for research based evidence that supported her claims. She refused to provide unless I scheduled another call with her. No thank you. Needless to say, I did not see her again. And my son is sleeping just fine now at 2 years old! Providing unsolicited criticism to new moms is not the way to go.

Disengaged
Good if you're looking for someone to fill your prescription and not ask any questions, but that's putting it kindly! I found her difficult to communicate with at times. She would often mention names or details from our previous conversations to prove that she was listening while pretty obviously either not listening or distracted. Sometimes I'd finish talking about something that was bothering me or something that I'd hope she'd give some input on and she would either not respond or just ask an unrelated question about what medicine I needed or scheduling. I know there is a difference between psychologists and psychiatrists, but this was just a weird experience...

Unprofessional and uncommunicative
Claimed she was going to write my prescription and then ghosted me for two full weeks, ignoring multiple follow-up emails from me trying to figure out what was going on. Lied about trying to call me and wouldn't apologize even when I showed my phone logs proving it wasn't true. Finally told me she needed extra tests that she could have easily requested in the first place. After I spent months of my time and hundreds of dollars to get her the doctor's note she asked for, she told me she couldn't see me anymore and left me completely stranded. I've never dealt with such unprofessional behavior from a clinician in my life.
