Clayton Womack, NP

My daughter presented to the ER with numbness, tingling, decreased sensation upon touch, and pain at C7 into her thoracic spine (all noted in her chart which was charted by Clayton) six months after a traumatic ligamentous injury to her neck. She wore a neck brace for 3 months 24 hours a day and ceased all physical activity, giving up a gymnastics career and half of her school year. Because my daughter could not explain her symptoms well to Mr. Clayton (because a 15-year-old, I guess, is supposed to know what paresthesias are and what neuropathy means), he puts down that it could be a psychiatric issue. She has obvious signs, symptoms, and a history of traumatic injury, and this is the kind of care we get—after a 5 minute evaluation from him. She never had this pain or symptoms from the original injury. It is obvious something else is going on. I would highly recommend you to demand more for your child. Ask for real doctors, not NPs, and demand answers. Utterly unacceptable.
