I went to NI Urology for a kidney stone and upper left abdominal pain. Dr. Beacom was very professional, concerned and really listened. He reviewed the CT scan with me showing me everything. He and upon consulting another Dr. didn’t think the pain was from the stone. Dr. Beacom thought that my left lobe of my liver looked odd and larger than it should be despite the radiologist report saying it was normal. He suggested liver tests. My basic blood tests were normal and my primary dr. said my liver is normal. Even the Gastroenterologist and his NP said my liver looked normal. Then I had laparoscopic surgery for a hysterectomy and my wonderfully thorough OBGYN explored my upper left quadrant and found that my liver wasn’t normal, and took clear pictures. Now the challenge is to find out why it looks like that and hopefully resolve the pain issues. I wanted to leave this review for Dr. Colin Beacom because he is obviously very smart and thorough and his opinion shouldn’t be doubted!
