In 2022 I was searching for a facility to get surgery at. I came across Presbyterian-Columbia orthopedics. in upper Manhattan. After researching the doctors there, I called the office to do Q and A. I decided this was the facility I'd like to consider for treatment. After setting up a consultation appt. Courtney was the first person to enter the exam room to get specifics regarding my condition. She has since moved on from the facility. In short, it didn't take long before I concluded if Courtney represents the type of providers I'll be receiving care from, I will definitely be signing up for surgery with them, which I did. The surgery went well. I'm even allowed by the surgeon to run once a week with NO issues at all. After the surgery, Courtney was the one to respond to any correspondences through the portal, We also spoke by phone. She always tried to address everything and even though she didn't have decades of experience, she was always very gracious, receptive and easy going.

Well, in 2022 I needed hip surgery and in my search for a provider, I came across an ortho. surgeon at Presbyterian/Columbia Univ. ortho. center which she has moved on from. Simply put, after scheduling a consultation appt. by phone, Courtney was the first person I spoke with when I arrived for the appointment. It didn't take long for me to conclude, if getting surgery at this facility means I'll be with providers as Courtney, I am definitely signing up. As it turns out, I had the surgery and can even run (on the track) again. Even though my surgeon recommends running only once a week, I'm very pleased to be able to crank out those miles once a week. In follow up communications via the portal, it was Courtney that I would communicate with. Granted, she can only give so much info. regarding internal operation concerns and doesn't have decades of experience, being treated at a facility where she will be the PA you'll be interacting with will be a most rewarding experience. .
