Crystal Amoah, PMHNP-BC

I have been a patient of Crystal’s for the past 4 years. From the beginning, Crystal has made me feel comfortable expressing myself, my emotions, and is genuinely interested in getting to know me as a person. I too have gotten to speak with Crystal on a more personal level which makes it all the more comfortable when communicating about heavier topics.

Crystal was my provider for about a year. She is kind, caring, and professional. I respect her as a person. She is intelligent and a good person.

I’d been seeing her for 2 years (today was my last session with her) and it was a very comfortable experience, she listened to everything I had to say and respected my name and pronouns as a transgender man. She was very thorough in telling me the side effects of any medication I started taking, I never felt uncomfortable during any of my appointments with her. I’ll miss seeing her bright smile but I wish her luck with whatever life has waiting for her!

Crystal was always welcoming me with a warm smile and listened to my issues. She always had a helpful answer or suggestion for me whenever something came up. She was always very clear and honest when it came to my medications and the side effects of any were to come up. She was very relatable and kind and supportive for the last 2 years I had her.

I have been seeing Crystal for 2 years and I have always felt taken care of. she has a way of making it feel like you’ve known each other for years. I would recommend her to everyone!

I have been seeing Crystal for the past 1-2 years and have always had a wonderful connection and experience. She is SO easy to talk to, open up to, is relatable, and goes above and beyond in her explanations, guidance, and services. She has helped me through a lot and has always made me feel heard with addressing each of my concerns. I appreciate her help and every appointment has been a positive experience. I've really enjoyed working with Crystal the last couple years and always look forward to our appointments. I was nervous to start my journey with medications but she has made this such a wonderful experience. She listens to any concerns you might have (no matter how small) and only ever responds with kindness and empathy. She remembers the smallest details about your life and it really shows how much she cares about her patients. She never overpowers or talks over you and lets you take the lead on what you want to get out of your appointment, while still making sure to tackle important topics. I'm so thankful to have found her and have her support me through this journey.

Dr. Amoah, she is truly one of the best psychiatrists I have ever been with . She is personable and warm . She listens but also gives valuable insight into issues . I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. She really did help me and she did make a difference in my life .

She is an excellent person, she helps you find and heal what you need, there is for you at all times. I recommend her 100%.

My appointments with Crystal were very professional. She asked the right questions and helped me realize that there's no shame in taking your mental health seriously. She was a blessing right when I needed it most. She is caring and patient, but will still teach you the hard facts that come along with mentally challenging issues. I highly recommend her services.

Crystal is one of the best psychiatrist I’ve ever seen. I’ve been seeing her for a while now and I’ve only improved. She is super nice and listens to how you’re feeling. She also explained to great detail when she diagnosed me and when she medicated me. She is great!

I found her after searching for a mental health professional after moving from out of state, and I couldn't be happier that I didn't have to keep searching. Crystal and her office members are always punctual and are quick to respond to any emails/calls that you send to them. I really enjoy talking to Crystal, she is always kind, patient & funny. She keeps the conversation light and lets you lead, but is helpful and guides you when you are unable to express how you feel. She remembers details about you and your life, and offers her own life experiences to make you feel less uncomfortable or awkward. She is laid back and never rushes you during the appointment. Her professional experience and knowledge is evident in her input and treatment plan, and she always makes me feel heard. I will continue seeing her, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a mental health professional!

Crystal is a wonderful provider and medication management specialist. She is kind, thoughtful, thorough and professional. She is easy to talk to and makes a difference with her insights and knowledge. I highly recommend her. Her staff is fantastic as well and is very responsive and helpful.

Crystal is one of the absolute best mental health professionals I've had. She truly listens to what I say and is able to respond with compassion (and humor when necessary). Plus she takes the time to explain the ins and outs of any medication changes she suggests, including the reasoning behind why she suggests one over other options. I just wish I found her sooner!

Crystal is a caring & personable woman. She is very specific in her explanations & clear about plan of action. After 50 years as a mental health patient, I find her at the top of the scale. I highly recommend.
