Absolutely bias, ill-informed, & unprofessional. Not only lacked therapeutic knowledge, but also common knowledge.

I went to Cindy in 2020, and I was trying to get my life back on track as I felt it slipping. I set up two appointments with her and both times during the session she requested I vent and responded with “that’s too bad,” instead of helping me with coping mechanisms or at the very least, challenge me. Therapy wasn’t helping, weeks were passing and life got drastically worse because I was receiving affirmations and not information. I became homeless, stopped going to her as a therapist (professionally cancelled out appointment 2 days prior) and spent 2 years trying to get back on track. I had more success with Google and self-help books than I think she could offer anyone.

I am going to Cindy for counseling on how to deal with chronic pain due to 20 spinal surgeries. I also go to get counseling on past life traumas in my life. So far, she has been listening and really making me aware of situations that I went through with loosing my mom at an early age, dealing with her care since I was 9 years old etc. She has been very professional and kind. I’ll continue with her counseling because it has helped me tremendously.

Cyndi is absolutely awful. She needs to get a new line of work. I was sexually assaulted. Because I’m a man and it happened more than once at different massages, she point blank said she doesn’t believe I was sexually assaulted. According to her, if I had really been sexually assaulted, I would have never gone back to get more massages, even if it was at a different establishment. She consistently demonstrated a lack of understanding of trauma and addiction. Her therapy is based on her own experiences, not on well known therapeutic practices. She’s combative, does not listen, and when confronted with something she has just said, clearly, she tries to gaslight by saying I was the problem and that I didn’t understand her. If you’re dealing with trauma and addiction, you’ll need a therapist who believes you. In my experience, that’s not Cyndi.

Am an attorney. I work with custody evaluators often. Worse experience ever. Very unprofessional. Do not use. Does not know or understand her role. Horible witness.

If you make an appointment at this location, make sure they give you an appointment card and keep it until your appointment. On two separate occasions they have made errors in our appointments. They were going to charge us for the appointment saying we were a no show. They were adamant that they didn’t make a mistake. Luckily my husband had the appointment card with him and proved them wrong. The second time, I didn’t get a card and couldn’t prove it. Staff is very rude, I would stay away.
