Questioned every diagnosis in my medical history, even the ones clearly documented-had she looked. Discounted my own account of my symptoms. Her last words to me were, "Let me know if you want anything for your anxiety." I am worse off from the delay in getting diagnosed. Significant things were clearly wrong and she missed them even as they were on labs she ordered. It was bad enough to be unwell; to have to fight every step of the way to get diagnosed was to be failed in the worst way.
