Dana is not only a great therapist but a guiding great human being. I’ve seen her for nearly 4 years and she has helped me in more situations than I can count. She’s empathetic compassionate and professional.

I've seen four or five counselors over thirty or so years; I believe two of them had their Ph.D. All seemed like perfectly good professionals for clients suited to them -- it's just that none of them was really suited to me, I guess. This time I very carefully checked professional sources for people's specializations. I wanted someone with whom to work on positive habits, and since I was beginning to think I'd been suffering for decades from PTSD, I wanted someone with experience working with that. Dana has made a positive difference in my life. She keeps up with recent developments in her field, she has very strong empathy, and for me at least she strikes a close to ideal balance between being supportive and providing a metaphorical light kick in the rear end. We've laughed together as well as discussing painful incidents. Dana is interested in meditation from a variety of traditions and herbal therapy, without ever pushing them on me. Her practice is warm and inviting.
