All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

My experience with this provider mirrored the other reviewers that had a negative experience. Low on patience Low on tolerance to high emotional content Low on empathy I came out of our appointments not in a better place than when I went in the worst of times and that can be dangerous when mental health is at stake. She will teach you her therapy methodogy out of the textbook she recommends/insists you purchase.

I only saw Dr. Nevedal for three appointments about five years ago. I didn't particularly like her and she didn't seem to like me either. I am a strong believer that you need to find a therapist that is a good fit for you, so this is fine. I have a problem with how she handled the following: I had to cancel my fourth appt, so I found the business card she gave me and emailed her with more than the required notice (of time). She later left me a voicemail reprimanding me for emailing me instead of calling. Apparently, she had told me in our first appt that she was in the process of getting her email taken off her business cards and only to call. I didn't remember her saying this. Why didn't she just cross it off on the business card? It doesn't feel good to be reprimanded by the person you're trying to get therapy from for something that really wasn't your fault. She seems to hate people, so I'm not sure why she decided to be a psychologist.

I am not surprised by these poor reviews because I had a similar experience. I called her Dana, as some professionals prefer being called by their first name. She was so offended and demanded I call her “dr”. She was incredibly condescending and just plain awful. I saw her once and never went back. Idk why they keep her on staff because she clearly cares more about her title than actually caring for patients. I recommend that you away from this woman.

She was very condescending and controlling over me and not worried about my safety. I would not recommend seeing her.

Her arrogant and condescending tone was very unprofessional. Therapist clearly is more concerned about billable hours than being compassionate and caring to those patients who are struggling.
