At surgery follow up, was 40 min. late to the appt., was rude, did not listen to me, did not look up from the computer, did not ask me any questions, told me I did not need to be seen again and did not need PT. I had one concern related to post surgery he dismissed it without asking anything more about it. If I am ever scheduled to see him again, you bet I will protest.

PA DeMartini was very thorough and considerate when I was referred to Upstate for a skiing injury. He correctly diagnosed the MCL tear as more serious than what the urgent care originally thought with Xrays, and referred me without hesitation for a MRI within the same week. At our followup appointment, he went through the MRI in a step-by-step manner to make sure I understood what was wrong with my knee, and answered all of my questions in a practical, knowledgable manner. When it was discovered that I did have an ACL tear, he brought in the surgeon right away as a consult and they answered my questions about the surgery for more than 10 minutes. Hands down it was the best medical experience I have had for trauma.

He didn't do his job after I waited two hours to see him. I have a condition that has historically caused me multiple ligament issues throughout my body. I have an appointment in a week with the actual specialist. I just wanted him to order an MR Arthrogram so that I could come to my appointment with the specialist with more information in hand since my x-rays showed nothing (typical of x-rays not to diagnose ligament issues well). He literally did absolutely nothing and ordered nothing. When I see the doctor, I'm certain he'll order the MR Arthrogram, given my history, and then I'll have to schedule that appointment and wait a week for those results and then wait for yet another appointment to come up with a treatment plan. I don't have a month to waste in distracting pain because he didn't want to do his job. I'm a college student. Oh, also, he offered to give me crutches for my issue even though I have two balance disorders among other issues that make crutches super unsafe. What?!

He was very insightful on what to expect with my injury and spent the necessary time explaining to me what was wrong. I felt he performed a thorough exam and I was very happy with my visit. He's a capable provider and genuinely cares about his patients.

I had an excellent experience with Mr. Demartini. He was very courteous and attentive from the moment he walked in the door. He really went the extra mile to make sure all aspects of my medical issue were addressed. All too often medical professionals are way too vague when answering questions and providing the details I seek. I'm very analytical about my health issues - so I'm very grateful to Mr. Demartini for this thoroughly professional (and refreshing) experience. Highly recommended!
