I first saw Dan for an addiction to gambling. I had a problem that spiraled out of control and within the course of a year, I lost over $200k. I was in a very bad place when I first saw Dan to say the least. I was at many times on the verge of giving up. I couldn't understand why I just could not stop gambling. Dan helped me understand that it was an addiction and not a character flaw. Understanding and accepting that has allowed me to recover and appreciate life and myself again!
