Horrible and mean
My last experience with Dr. Haas was HORRIBLE. I had to wait for hour. However, with covid and labor shortages, I was extremely patient. What I DO NOT have patience for is when I opted to just stick with my one pair of progressive lens instead of the straight lens and progressive (2 pair). Dr. haas got aggressive and told me “I don’t care if you get one, two pair or none. I’m not trying to sell you glasses” . I was shocked and speechless. After waiting for an hour, he rushed through my appointment in 8 minutes. I will NEVER come back to Dr. Haas or Clemson Eye and will tell everyone else.

First appointment was good. When I went back for a recheck on my contacts , waited an hour still no doctor. I had to leave because I didn't have enough time to wait longer. Found out he was double booked. If they had told me that I would have rescheduled. My time is just as valuable as his. Also while sitting there for this hour saw multiple patients come in and out of rooms that had a sign on them saying rooms were cleaned thoroughly between patients. Never saw any go into those rooms to clean. They would walk one patient out and another right in after. They are not at all concerned about the Pandemic spreading!!!

Dr. Dan Haas, is absolutely the most thorough and best optometrist I've ever been to and I've need glasses for 40+ years! From the staff at the front desk, to the initial exam, to the actual exam with Dr. Haas, everything is thoroughly explained in layman terms and he won't quit until he gets you the best vision obtainable in both contacts and lenses. My astigmatisms are a challenge, and I'm finally able to wear contacts again because of him!
