We met Dr. Dan Schimmel when I had cataract surgery in 2016. The surgery was a complete success; however, I did have problems with pressure and healing afterwards. Because Dr. Schimmel took the time to try to find the cause for this, he suggested I get a complete blood workup as soon as possible. He gave my doctor a list of different tests he wanted to include in this blood work. It was discovered that I had LYME DISEASE! Thank God for this doctor!! He's our hero !!!!
