Daniel Sifrit, MSPT

Referred to Dan Sifrit after epidural steroidal injections in lower back (due to stenosis resulting from disk degeneration). Dan worked on softening up severe muscle spasms and building better control over back and abdominal muscles. Over a period of several weeks, situation was greatly improved. I'm hoping to increase the time until my next epidural. Dan impressed me with his approach and effectiveness.

I met Dan when I had my knee replaced a few years ago and he was with Advanced Orthopedics Rehab. I was impressed with his attention to my needs and my progress with that procedure. When I had my shoulder replaced in late July (this year) I was told that Dan had his own shop and was available to do my rehabilitation. I am more than happy that I chose to see him. Before my (reverse) shoulder replacement I read all I could find about the procedure and the recovery. I was prepared for months of painful rehab and significant loss of range of motion. Today is exactly 8 weeks after my replacement. I have regained almost all of my range of motion. I am carrying my wallet in my back pocket, placing and retrieving with my new shoulder. My arm goes straight out and straight up with no pain or effort. When I saw my surgeon (Dr. Stchur) he was impressed with my progress and with Dan's guidance. Suffice it to say, I am also impressed. Highly recommend to anyone in need of a physical therapist! For years I’ve tried pts, chiropractors, even massage therapy to help with my back and neck pain and nothing was ever as significant nor beneficial as they have been in helping ease the tension I have. I highly recommend Sifrit Sports Rehab., they are the best! I've received Physical Therapy from Dan to help with my sciatica nerve pain. I have never felt more comfortable, they are wonderful people to work with, taking time to answer any questions to being very accommodating with making appointments. Dan gave me specific exercises to help relieve the nerve pain & strengthen my sciatica & back muscles.

Dan is highly knowledgeable and very friendly. He helped my mother in law after her shoulder surgery and she is now like new! Thanks Dan for being so caring and having the utmost concern for her comfort and helping to get her healed.

Just completed 6 wks of PT with Dan for a broken wrist. He is an amazing therapist and really cares about his clients. Not knowing if the wrist would ever be fully functional, the wrist is doing just great and it's all thanks to him. I highly recommend him!

Dan and his expertise is exactly what my physician wanted for me. He has “magic” hands for massage and extensive knowledge for exercise to help my problem. He is interested in each of his patients and also shows that in how he speaks to us (like a friend). Melissa, his wife, is welcoming and a great office manager. Dan has opened his own office now, located over the YMCA on 41 in Punta Gorda. Dan is personable, knowledgeable and a great therapist. I was referred and couldn’t be happier that I found him and his office. I had a new hip replaced 8 weeks ago and am already ready for golf again. That says it all!
