He has poor bedside manner and communication skills. He acts suspicious in the way he asks questions. Making the patient feel like you have to justify your pain or problem. I understand needing to ask good probing questions to get to the source of the issue. But his style needs work. He would benefit from some emotional intelligence courses. The other issues is that he is not willing to think out of the box for treatment. You will get text book, bare minimum treatment with Dan. I only see him when ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY because the PCPs are really challenging to schedule with. This is nothing new for Dan. I have experienced the same behavior for years and I actually DREAD going to him. I’m just really over it. There will not be a next time with Dan. I may look for a new PCP.
