If I could give this “doctor” less than 1 star, I would definitely do so. She was on a referral list from my pediatrician and I will be suggesting he update that list. She dismissed everything I said. She dismissed everything said by other family members and teachers. She lost an evaluation from a teacher. She didn’t care about my son’s situation at all. She felt her 30 minute evaluation of my son was far more important than those that deal with him daily. Go anywhere else.

If I could giver a “no star” I would. Totally dismissal. Misdiagnosed my daughter despite the fact that my daughter had an appointment with neurologist. I asked her to wait in order to gather all the information. She said it wouldn’t matter. Thanks to the neurologist there were logical explanations for her symptoms and behaviors. Will NOT recommend.

Dismissed ADHD diagnosis (previously diagnosed by psychiatrist) based on a few tests, stating instead that my symptoms were due to above average intelligence and college classes being too easy. Later confirmed with my psychiatrist that the tests she administered had high rates of false negatives for above average intelligence individuals. In addition, my psychiatrist had heard of bad experiences with her from other patients as well. Aside from that, very dismissive and unprofessional overall.

Poor psychological evaluation and report. Deficient knowledge of analyzing discrepancies in subtests scale scores for identifying learning disabilities. Administration of tests that are not accepted for comprehensive measure of academic achievement.

I would not recommend this facility for a very specific reason. When I went seeking help with a problem I was told that Dr. Costa would be overseeing all my information, diagnosis and progress via the therapist I was assigned. However when it came to getting paper work signed, or completed by Dr. Costa months later so that i would be able to submit it for insurance claims/disability she was very uncooperative and reluctant to sign anything and would state that "technically" I was not her patient
