Darby is wonderful!! I thoroughly enjoy meeting with her about my GI issues. She listens to my concerns and works around the fact that I am also a picky eater. She never makes me feel rushed in explaining how I am feeling or answering my questions. Her understanding and kindness is truly unmatched. Unlike other medical appointments, I am never anxious about going to see her. I highly recommend!

I saw Darby for IBS issues. She is caring, knowledgeable and very helpful. She helped show me foods that could potentially be causing my issues. I feel much better and have a better knowledge going forward on how to handle my issues. I highly recommend Darby.

Darby always takes time to listen to what I feel my needs are to make healthy choices. She encourages and helps me to set up new goals to keep progressing. If I have any questions or need suggestions on the healthy meals we’ve come up with I can always email her and she gets right back to me with helpful suggestions and recipes. She is such an inspiration in keeping me focused on my goals for healthier eating and a healthier lifestyle.

Since I have started with Darby I have had multiple great changes. I feel healthier and more positive about my ability to succeed. Darby has made the changes I needed to make easy to understand And set me up for success and not failure.

I had previously seen a Nutritionist years ago that was a total disappointment, so I was reluctant to see another one. I must say, it was so refreshing visiting with Darby! She truly listens to your wants and needs and works WITH YOUR personal likes and dislikes to help you reach your goals. She will send you emails, with recipe suggestions and useful products and she is so easily available with any issues that may arise. I am happy to say that I have lost 11 pounds since seeing her once, and I look forward to losing more with her guidance. Do not hesitate! SHE CAN HELP YOU TOO!

Darby does a great job both teaching about nutrition and encouragement. She follows up each week with an email with highlights from the visit. She helps me to determine realistic goals for each week. She sends me recipes, and helps figure out what to do when eating out. I highly recommend her.

Darby Heiland has been my dietitian at the Rochester V.A. clinic in Rochester PA. for the past 2 years. I found her to be a very approachable and caring person who is enthusiastic about helping her clients. She has been able to explain the goals of proper diet, neutritian and living a healthy life style weather it be in a 1 on 1 format or a group setting such as in our M.O.V.E classes (The VA version Weight Watchers). She has always been supportive with us during our weight loss journey, even during setbacks. She is quick to help us troubleshoot our problems and suggest ways to get us back on track. I would highly recommend Her to anyone seeking a dietitian.

Darby is very knowledgeable and provided many helpful and realistic ways to lose weight and stay healthy. She took time to answer any questions I had in an easy and understandable way. Darby was very positive and encouraging in that I left motivated that I could reach my goals. Plus, I even left with some good recipe ideas to try!!!
