Darie Ehrlich did extensive blood work that was not requested by my Doctor at NYU Langone Hospital for pre surgical testing and then she would not clear me for surgery. I am scheduled for emergency surgery at NYU hospital. I am deaf and my cochlear implant failed. She said the surgery is elective and not an emergency. I am unable to hear since my cochlear implant failed. She said it can wait its not an emergency for me to hear. Even though NYU Langone cochlear Implant center was expediting the procedure because of my situation. I was cleared for surgery. She is prejudice to deaf people and not compassionate to patients needs. She is a disgrace to her profession.

She was rude and not compassionate to my needs. I am deaf individual and she refused to help me.
