Excellent
Dr. Darlene has been providing support for my son for more than a decade. She is very experienced and knowledgeable and has a good instinct for how to connect with people with ASD. I recommend her highly.

We brought our high school daughter to see Dr. Sweetland because she had a lot of anxiety about going to school and making friends. She would panic before school most mornings. Dr. Sweetland made us feel so comfortable and our daughter opened up to her. The best thing about Dr. Sweetland is she taught us strategies we could use on our own at home. There are very few panic mornings now. Dr. Sweetland was a life-saver.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Sweetland?
Our teenage autistic son has been struggling with depression. After multiple sessions with Dr. Sweetland, we increasingly had the feeling she was either not equipped or not interested in any difficult cases. In what we decided to be the final session my son broke down and was sobbing, curled up on her couch. For many moments she offered no words or guidance to me or my son. In her manner and tone she seemed completely detached and uncaring as if the session couldn't end fast enough for her.
