Best Optometrist in WNC
I never leave reviews but this place is so amazing I just had too. Thank you Dr. Gossett and Dr. Ward for sharing your wisdom with us and for providing me and my family with excellent care for our eyes. But I would really like to praise the efficiency and adroitly of the office staff. If is by FAR the best run doctor's office I have ever been in. There was little to no wait. The staff communicated with each other perfectly and they were very quick! From my observing one person verifying insurance to a customer over the phone, to the explanation of what my insurance covered and how to use those benefits to actually BENEFIT ME! If more doctor's offices ran this well, there would be 90-100% less errors. EVERY company should take notes from this crew!

Small town compassion??
Optometrist Gossett is aloof and detached. His office staff are condescending and sometimes rude. I had a problem that could not be resolved because they didn’t have an office manager or anyone in charge that was willing to speak with me. It’s all about the money at Gossett & Ward. Eyeglasses are expensive even after they bill your insurance the maximum amount. I called Medicare and reported what I believed was creative billing for a routine eye exam. I don’t trust them and I certainly wouldn’t recommend them.

Eye Care
We started seeing Dr Gossett last year after moving to Franklin. And what a great decision to make. Honestly I would say he offers the best eye care that I have received in years.

Outstanding visit. Switched my contacts and I see ao much better with little to no eye strain even though I work at a conputer. I love how thorough everyone was and prodessional. Lovely, relaxing atmosphere...top notch establishment, thank you.

He did not listen to my needs. I only wanted a contact examination and told him that I do not wear glasses and yet, wanted me to wear glasses. I will not be going back.
