The best in his field. Extremely knowledgeable and caring. I have recommended him to our family and friends. He truly listens, analizes and works to resolve issues and problems.

Dr Dahl failed to produce a Neuropsychiatric Evaluation report despite billing and receiving payment for the services from my insurance company. Initially, he said he was extremely busy, but he stopped returning calls or letters regarding the report. His mailbox is always full and not accepting messages. Don’t waste your time.

he'll get it done.....eventually
went to him about adhd/possible learning disability for teen. not really the most talkative or friendly, a little blunt at times. he was very thorough and scheduling was easy (and his office is very cool!). the main issue is he said he would get my report back by early May, but we did not get the report until late June.

A good listening with empathy
I used Dr. Dahl for two years, for my family, my child and myself, for family relations, anxiety and depression. I don't know what happened to other patients who left mixed or negative feelings, but for me, he has been good, listening well, and responding well. I often left feeling soothed and comforted after one session. He shares some personal techniques and even stories. I also have friends who feel using after talking to Dr. Dahl. Dr. Dahl is not not the most organized person and keeps forgetting things he has promised to deliver or bills. However, that was okay with me.

Absolutely unprofessional. After a completely shoddy evaluation that included the recommendation NOT to discuss the child abuse by my ex husband towards my children AND the domestic violence towards me, for fear it would disrupt my children's bond with their father (which was the whole point of reconnection therapy - to give my children a safe space to voice their concerns, etc.), Dr. Dahl SHREDDED my original documents - a restraining order and victim's police report without my knowledge or consent and loaded them onto a hard drive. Dr. Dahl had misplaced my documents at our last meeting, refused to mail my documents to me unless he charged me and then shredded my documents without notifying me. Absolutely unprofessional.

Dr. Dahl is a client focused neuropsychologist specializing in a variety of therapy techniques including cbt, Bowens family systems, and dbt. Using these skills he provided me with; increased self-esteem, improved relationships, decreased anxiety, improved self confidence, improved emotional regulation, ability to deal with difficult coworkers, social skills, improved physical health, improved differential of self, and the skills to deal with the toxic family I ran away from. Tldr; he is awesome

David was calm and friendly. Though I felt like his sessions were not information dense. When he was telling something he was speaking slow and made long pauses between sentences, that looked like he was just playing for time. Sessions used to start 5 min later and end 5 min earlier. I thought that he can explain the root of my anxiety issues, but he was mostly listening and didn't tell much. It was obvious that I have anxiety disorder, but he didn't do any actual therapy (CBT for instance).

Dr. Dahl brings an extremely unique background to his practice of Neuropsychology in both its breadth and depth. It includes extensive multidisciplinary training and experience in theology and spiritual/pastoral care; clinical psychology with specializations in systems family therapy, neuropsychology and forensic psychology. He is personable; a man of integrity who reflects strong moral character, family values and deep respect for the individual regardless of race/religion/national origin.

Can be good, but sometimes has his own agenda, which doesn't always work with that the patient needs, or requests. Unlikely to recommend, due to this, and other facts that would be identifying.
