After going to my local eye doctor for years, I was very impressed by the exam and resulting Rx from Dr. MacDonald. He explained the inner workings of the eye and related it to my vision. The Rx was very different from my last, and much better. I definitely recommend Dr. MacDonald.

Yesterday I developed acute vision changes, light sensitivity and difficulty reading, I immediately called Dr David MacDonald explained my situation to his amazing front end staff and they called me back fast to tell me Dr. MacDonald wanted to evaluate me immediately. And despite his already packed schedule he would squeeze me in! He was extremely thorough, with great bedside manner. He determined I had had occipital migraines based on my presentation. He was right! I highly recommend him!

Myself and my family absolutely love Dr. MacDonald. He and his team immediately made a significant difference in the quality of my prescription, which improved my quality of life. If you rely on glasses every waking moment you know how important this is. He shows great concern for my 10 year old son, and has established an excellent rapport with him as well. I can say without hesitation that Dr. MacDonald has given me the best eye care and examinations I have ever had.

I visited Dr Macdonald for an eye exam after years of using a national discount chain. During the intake interview I related my horrible experience with the progressive lenses I returned to the retailer after a couple of weeks of feeling nauseous, and asked that he not prescribe them. Once the exam was complete Dr. Dave suggested Transition lenses and assured me he got the prescription correct and the lenses would be perfect. I am happy to report he was 100% right and I now enjoy better visio

Dr. MacDonald is truly the BEST eye doctor on the shoreline. I have perfect vision since I have been seeing him for my yearly eye exams. I recently had problems with severe dryness in both eyes. Dr. MacDonald suggested punctal plugs rather than the typical eye drops. He surgically inserted the punctal plugs in both eyes. There was no pain and within minutes my dry eye problem was resolved. Amazing! If you are looking for an exceptional eye doctor, look no further. You will not be disappointed.

I was given a frightening miss-diagnosis/information of a relatively simple problem. He had no clue what to do but call my primary care physician. No true knowledge of the inner working of the eyes. This guy is just a prescription writer. Go to a an ophthalmologist if you want or need a real eye doctor.
