Dr. Deborah Maken, ND

Very knowledgeable individual which is a shame because her communication skills are subpar. She does not care about her patients and does not follow through with what she says she will do. After 2 months of waiting for her to get back to me, she told me my health "was not a life or death situation" and that she was "too busy" because she gets 30 emails per day. If you are looking to dig deeper into your health and want a professional who cares about your wellbeing and can communicate, continue your search. I have wasted many months and thousands of dollars under her care and unfortunately have to start over. I hope no one else has to experience this for themselves, we all deserve better than Deborah. This is not a reflection of the office space she is renting, this is solely a review of her "care."

Dr. Maken is one of the most kind, gentle, approachable, warm, generous, passionate, experienced, and intelligent doctors I have ever met. From the first minute with her, I knew that I could trust her with any of my health concerns. While doing a full assessment of my current state of health, she was very thorough and generous with her time. She gave me many recommendations on tests and health areas to focus on but prioritized the tests and areas so I could do it all over time (so it wasn't too overwhelming). Additionally, I love that she makes some of her own products. And it is a plus that she has a really beautiful and calming voice.

Dr. Deborah Maken has had a huge impact on restoring my health. I’m 67, physically fit, and eat well, but struggle with Raynaud’s, digestive issues, allergies, muscle spasms, and energy level. My family was planning a ski trip, but I was afraid to go as the last time I was in the mountains my Raynaud’s was excruciatingly painful. I recently returned from 2 days in the mountains with no flare up. My digestion is the BEST it has ever been and is continuing to improve as is my energy level. Her acupuncture treatments along with other treatments, have reduced my allergy symptoms to barely noticeable and remedied my muscle spasms. She never makes me feel rushed during appointments, but takes time to listen and understand the problems I’m experiencing and thoroughly explains treatment options. I’ve never experienced such commitment and attentiveness from any health professional. Thank you, Dr. Maken!
