Unprofessional and judgemental.

Where do I start with this review for Debra? Maybe by saying I truly believe God put her in my life? I have gone to several therapist throughout my years on this earth. Thru my experience I have learned that it can take a little while to find the “right fit” when you are “shopping” around for therapist. Finding Debra right off the bat during the “season” I am going thru currently, as well as seeing and feeling the difference after each session has truly been a blessing. Every single time I get off a telehealth call with her, I feel like a new person. I feel like myself again! Something about her gives me the motivation to keep going, the understanding on events/actions of things/people in life, and brings out the happiness that can be seen in my smile and felt in the warmth by being around me. I have come to realize that no matter where I am in the current “season” in my life, whether it be a peak or a valley, therapy has and will continue to be a huge benefit in my life.

Through the recommendation of a friend, I have referred a few people to Debra Kraus, all with positive feedback. After struggling with a personal issue I decided to make an appointment for myself. My experience was excellent. Available appointments were good, staff was very kind and her office is so warm and comfortable. Debra Kraus is a professional Christian woman who truly cares for her clients needs. My healing experience with her left me wising I had contacted her sooner! I will definitely continue to highly recommend Debra Kraus

I work with Mrs. Kraus in a professional manner -- I refer many of my own clients to her for various forms of counselling and therapy. She has helped my clients grow, heal, and thrive. My clients, some of whom are initially somewhat reticent about engaging in mental health counselling, always report back to me that Mrs. Kraus has concretely helped them overcome and heal from many wounds or issues that had been affecting them and holding them back. Indeed, I know that when I refer a client to Mrs. Kraus, I know that they are going to get professional, advanced, practical/concrete, and exquisite care, and that Mrs. Kraus will do whatever it takes to help them heal and move forward in life in a way that helps them thrive and flourish!

It took me a while to understand that I needed a professional to help me with issues I've been dealing with for a long time. I always thought I could and should be able to deal with them on my own. A friend referred Debra Kraus who she had seen personally with great results. I checked with my insurance company and found she was an approved provider. That made me feel more comfortable as they do significant due diligence. I called her office and was able make a convenient appointment. The office staff was very friendly and professional. I was VERY nervous when I met her but she quickly put me at ease. I have been seeing her for a short time and I am feeling much better. She is firm but fair and always as she says "speaks the truth in love". I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a highly qualified, compassionate, experienced psychotherapist.

I am a Transgender Woman. I was referred to Deborah Kraus by my Doctors office. After an at length phone consultation she agreed to see me to write a letter of supportive documentation for my gender reassignment surgery. She quoted a price of $140 & a 24 hour turn around time to receive the letter. However upon my visit she admitted she did not know what gender dysphoria is or what the WPATH SOC are. (The AMA recognized World Professional Association for Transgender Health Standards of Care) BOTH of these things are REQUIRED for any LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) to write such a letter. Deborah Kraus is not only unprofessional, but UNQUALIFIED. How would such a person make an appointment for service without accredited qualification??? I would give NO STARS, but it is not an option...
