Deirdre Holland, LCSW

I always thought therapy would be hard for me. I came to a very inviting office with a great soul. She is easy to talk to and helps me work out my thoughts in a way that I never imagined. We have had both in person and phone appointments. She is very flexible with scheduling and is always there when I need her.

Deirdre Holland is the second therapist I have been to and hopefully the last. From the first session I had with her I felt better and safe. I have been going for a couple months now and wish I decided to go sooner. She has changed my life and continues to change it with every session. In our technological era it might be hard to think that a person can have such good review without the people reviewing getting something from it but this is not that. She is truly just that amazing and helpful to people that really need her. She has helped me with so manny things and even things I didn’t know I needed help with. Please do not search any longer and go to her because I honestly believe she is the best. Will forever be grateful for all the problems she has helped me overcome. She has made me feel seen, heard and valued. I have never felt so happy with a decision I have made. She always listens to all my concerns without judgement or making me less than. It took me awhile to decide to go to therapy. Its not easy to take the first step and allow myself to open up and talk about how I feel. I was hesitant and scared. However, once I met Deirdre Holland and began talking I felt at ease. Deirdre makes me feel comfortable. She listens and makes me look forward to seeing her each week Thanks Deirdre.

Deirdre is the first therapist that I have seen, been seeing her for the past few months. I find our sessions to be both relaxed/comfortable and productive. She allows me to go at my own pace, lets me decide what we want to examine, and doesn’t push too hard if I pull up. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking, as I have found my sessions to be quite helpful.

Deirdre is a beautiful soul and amazing at what she does. Deirdre has helped me tremendously get through situations and struggles that I definitley wouldn’t have been able to cope with well without her tools and wisdom. Deirdre is amazing. My biggest regret was not going to see her earlier. She has been an incredible asset in helping me out with many aspects of my life. The stigma as a man of going to talk with someone is very real. I was not excited for my first appointment but now I could not imagine not coming to see Deidre. She’s smart, compassionate, caring and truly wants to help. Highly recommend seeing her!

When seeking a therapist the biggest fear is that the person will be either too old and out of touch or judgmental or a myriad of other fears one could have when going into what’s perceived as a ‘vulnerable’ situation, I was so relieved even within the first few seconds of meeting Deirdre, she was welcoming and nice and by the end of the session I knew I had lucked out with a perfect fit. She listens with uncanny precision and gets the job done. She also has pizazz. Pizazz is good.

Deirdre is simply amazing. When I first started seeing her two months ago I didn't know what to expect. After our first meeting and seeing how compassionate, caring and understanding she is I knew I came to the right person for help. She is such a great listener and cares about you. I am very happy with her services.

Ms. Holland was referred by a friend. My assessment after 6 months was that I had made the right choice changing Therapists. My Holland goes above and beyond in comparison. She is available 24/7, and over time you realize she does care for your well being.

Therapy is not easy and challenges one to think deeply and talk about difficult topics in order to have a better grasp on how we experience the world. Dr. Holland has helped me do that in a way that is comfortable and supportive especially during the most uncertain circumstances of a pandemic. It feels like a casual conversation, but Dr Holland guides The discussion to get to the important issues with patience and kindness. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Holland .

This therapist was horrible, I don’t know how she has these reviews. Did not seem to care at all. Rude and condescending. I literally think she is just happy to get the money from a session.

I have been seeing Deirdre Holland for 1 year 2 months now. She has been great resource for me and has helped me heal multiple traumatic events in my life that I was stuck living in fear from. Deirdre has given me tools to help myself and see things about me that I would have never been able to do on my own. I've been able to confront things about myself and face them to become the person that I am today. It took A LOT of hard work on my end and she does not give the solution or advise. Dierdre guided, listened and had me figure out all the crazy in my life then helped me put it in perspective and move on. I was seeing Deirdre for many years and still see her on occasion to recharge.

I had the pleasure of meeting Deirdre on a personal matter and we instantly bonded. Besides her professional demeanor she is one of the most honest and caring persons I have ever met. No matter what struggles or life challenges you are facing she will put you at ease and make you feel happy and comfortable with your self. She is strong and kind-hearted and just has a way about her that makes you immediately take a liking to her.
