Delora Brooks, NP

Dr Brooks has been great. We have had her as our primary for several years now. Sadly, she is no longer with Gateway Medical in Collinsville anymore. I wish I could find out where she went cause I would definitely follow her.

LOVE Delora! She is so easy to talk to, understanding and caring about her patients! I recommended her to my sister (who was searching for a new primary care doc) and she also loves her! Nothing but great experiences and expert care! Made me feel as if I was talking with a friend I've known forever from my first visit! Time spent obviously depends on what all you are seeing your physician for, so it varies, but it's always been an appropriate amount of time!

Wonderful Doctor cares about her patients, I would highly recommend her for your healthcare needs. Bedside manners is wonderful..she is amazing. She goes extra miles to help her patients. Never in a hurry, takes her time explains to you everything.She is an asset to Gateway Medical Group. The new company that bought Gateway Medical Group fails to realize that this is a medical service, they treat it as a business. They definitely are losing good Doctors..Delora Brooks is one of the very Best Doctors and you can trust her, she melts my heart.Delora is the real deal, follow her she is great for your care team

Delora Brooks is absolutely wonderful! She takes time to go over questions and concerns with me and really listens when I speak. It's so rare to find a provider like this nowadays it seems. Office staff on the other hand leaves something to be desired. It's impossible to get a hold of the office via phone, but thankfully there is a patient portal where the providers are very responsive.

She is by far the best I’ve ever had. She honestly cares about people. The healthcare profession is not anything like it should be but she goes above and beyond for her patients. She is the only one I’ll go to. If you want and need someone to listen to you and care about you this woman is the real deal. I thank her for everything she’s done.

I have never had so much trouble getting in contact with a doctor or their office before. Phone calls are never answered. Messages left unreturned. Ive had requests for medical records go unanswered. Short of going in face to face don't expect any communication whatsoever from the doctor or staff. Very unprofessional in my opinion and I am searching for a new doctor. This is ridiculous.

Delora started off as one of the best doctors I had ever had. However, in the past two years her office has declined drastically. There is never anyone there to answer the phone, phone calls are returned days later, sick appointments can't be made except for weeks out, and when you finally do get an appointment she cancels them. Delora has canceled my last two appointments.

Delora started off being one of my absolute favorite doctors ever. However, over the past two years it has been a steady decline in quality of care. From staff that doesn't answer the phones, never being able to see her when you are sick ( appointments at least a week out), and her canceling scheduled appointments the day of; I unfortunately had to move on to a new doctor.

Mrs. Brooks bed side manner is wonderful. She was very professional and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend her.
