She is well informed, kind, and straight forward. She listens actively and typically asks me if she can give me some feedback before she shares her opinion and advice. I feel like her only expectation of me is to want to work on my issues. She is supportive and is willing to explore various options which helps me make educated options. I feel cared for and listened to after my appointments. She has provided sound advice and wise counsel.

I volunteer for a local Christian 12 step program and needed some short term counseling, and was referred to Denise, who has an excellent reputation within our volunteer community. Denise was by far the best the five counsellors that I've seen over the years. She didn't over treat me, but rather, developed a plan to help me, help myself.

Denise is an absolutely incredible counselor! She is wise, gentle, but honest and will say the hard things you need to hear (but does so in a tactful way). I couldn't recommend Denise enough. She has helped me through so many hard seasons in my life! Denise also empowers you and give you the skills to become an overall emotionally healthy person.
