Walk In Clinic Disaster
Was seen for URI & asthma exacerbated wheezing I explained that I had been using a nebulizer at home with little relief from chest tightness and wheezing. Provider never made eye contact, never listened to my lungs &Quickly wrote a prescription for literally a couple doses of Prednisone & an antibiotic which caused violent diarrhea! As a health professional myself I was taken aback by this treatment. My only regret was not speaking up at the time. Being I’ll & vulnerable put me at this provider’s mercy. You can believe that I will NEVER be back to see this provider & will make sure my story is told so no one else endures this kind of treatment
