Denyse Collins, PMHNP-BC

I have been seeing Denyse for a little over a year and she has been amazing in my mental health journey. Extremely attentive and truly listens. I feel she works hard to empower her patients to grow.

I resisted seeking help most my life. When I hit the end of my rope, I reached out to her throughan email. She called me right back within hours. I think she heard the desperation and sadness in my voice and she immediately helped. She has been wonderful to work with. So very kind. She listens to my feedback about medication and adjusts as needed. I have been very happy with my care and will continue to see her.

I truly enjoyed my time working with Denyse. I was already on an SSRI when I went to see her in 2019 but was experiencing difficult depression symptoms. She offered hope and good medicine. I always thought she was extremely thoughtful, professional, sand encouraging. We did some genetic testing and found a new medicine for me to take in addition to my SSRI that really did the trick. She also helped me process a divorce in early 2020. Thankful for her services!

Denyse always took a lot of time with me and was very thorough. I felt like she truly cared

No passion in her job. Took her 2 weeks to call me back and I have to call her many times to have her care to acknowledge. In my opinion, she seems checked out and needs to retire. She has made my mental health only worse because I looked forward my entire life to finally get an answer and help for my issues and she let me down big time and every time. Epic fail on your part Denyse. I hope you just stop chasing the dollar signs. You're hurting people. Not helping them.

This practitioner has been the only independent (even when she was working for a clinic) that has invested and listened and prescribed to the best. I highly recommend her!

My child was seeing Denyse and after a couple of months she informed us she was leaving but would contact us one more time before she left to help us find someone else, but never did. We were left with a prescription and no refills as well as another 3 months to find another person to see.

I really liked Denyse at first, but if you do not respond well to several medications (which is what happened to me) she pretty much gives up on helping you. I first came to Denyse after the SSRI that had worked for years on my depression and anxiety stopped working. Unfortunately the 3 SSRIs I tried while seeing her either didn't work or had many side effects that made me feel worse, so I stopped taking it. I was ready to try something that was not an SSRI when she decided she couldnt be my health provider anymore ( because I have treatment resistant depression?). I thought her job was to help people like myself find a medication that would HELP treat anxiety and depression. So if you have a slightly more difficult case where the normally prescribed things are not working for you, I would find someone else. Extremely dissapointed.
