Deva Murphy, LCSW

I have been seeing Deva Murphy for the past 1.5 years, and while I initially disagree with some of the skills that I was taught, as time has passed, I have come to realize that I am applying the skills to my daily life and I am improving. She has been instrumental in finding me other providers when care was not available within the healthcare system she works in by using her resource of contacts. She has expertise in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) which has been extremely helpful despite my resistance. She is patient, understanding, and follows through. She has always been on time for her appointments, and even early on occasion. Even though we have had our differences of opinion, she has always done what is in my best interest and encouraged me by pointing out how the skills she has taught me are working.
