Diana Ortman nearly cost me my life several years ago because she would not listen to me. She didn’t like me and let that impact the level of care she provided. I was a minor at the time and had no say in who my PCP was. She got it stuck in her head that I was making up my illness. I was not. Long story short, she withheld lab results from me and wouldn’t listen to me, and blamed me for being terminally ill. If you value your health, time, and money- if you value your life- do NOT see Diana.

My mom has been a patient of Ms. Ortman for over 15 years. She is a genuinely caring and thorough physician. She is very attentive, focusing on preventative care, as opposed to sending a patient to a specialist once something goes wrong. Her explainations are clear and she delivers consistent care. Additionally everyone at Commonwealth Internal Medicine of Fredericksburg is kind and courteous.

I went in with bronchitis and she seemed unable to diagnose something very simple. Sent me to the ER......couldn't even diagnose something that simple. Save your money and go to a real doc.
