This counselor should NEVER be allowed to touch/evaluate patients. I am an Army Combat Vet/West Point graduate who has experienced multiple sexual assaults - she was my VA claims evaluator. Prior to the exam, she read NOTHING in my file; no witness statements, not the diagnosis from my (PhD educated) VA counselor I've seen for 3+ yrs - nothing. This was an interrogation rather than an exam. There was ZERO empathy & the “exam”was another assault. She was sarcastic, abrupt, insistent on yes/no answers; spent a lot of time asking if my parents had abused me (they didn’t) & how many/what kind of drinks I’d had at various points in my life - even tho I have NO history of alcohol/drug abuse. She was angry because my claim was not simply for "PTSD" and stated she, "only had an hour to perform the exam so we needed to move REALLY QUICKLY"... Tho I don't know what her exam recommendation is (yet), I can say unequivocally, should NEVER be allowed to interact with Veterans - EVER!
