Dr Desmond is kind, wise and empathic. She'll listen to both of you very carefully and provide guidance, teach practical communication skills, and save your relationship! You never feel like she's taking sides, and is always insightful. Don't hesitate to call her.

We were looking to improve our communication. Dona Desmond is very perceptive and always kind. She helped us with anger issues, now we're working on communication. This has been really helpful. for us. We recommend her.

Our situation, thankfully, has really improved. We liked her clear, concise organized feedback about our situation, all delivered with empathy and kindness. That mix worked for us. Our premarital counseling was awesome. It was on our checklist to do and we found Dr. Dona through another couple we know. We loved her menu of things to discuss that we hadn’t really focused on before. We really found value in sitting with her and now also recommend her.

We just met with Dr Desmond for 6 weeks of premarital counseling and really appreciate how thorough she was in going over all the aspects of a strong marriage with us plus helping us with some other issues that we have always struggled with. We’re so glad she could be our counselor.

Great relationship therapist! My wife and I just completed the 6 session couples package with Dr Desmond. I work in film so have unpredictable hours. Part of the problem. She responded quickly/saw us late after work which helped. We were at the cross road, no effective communication, just fights. Her direction helped. Insightful. She was gentle about it but specific and clear which worked for us. I recommend her. Clearly focused us on solutions.

Dr Desmond has been very helpful to us — teaching us new concepts, validating both our views, and allowing us to have many insights. I’m hopeful under her guidance we will come out the other end more connected.

I warned Dr. Desmond before our session that my husband had narcissistic behavior and she ignored me, validated his views that he was being rational, and allowed him to gaslight me the whole time. I was defenseless and I'm extremely disappointed that she failed to pick that up. She allowed him to do what he has done to me for the past year right in front of her eyes, and that's make me feel like i am the one with all the problems, i was the one that needed to change, my kids were awful and i wasn't a good mom.

We have been so happy with DR Desmond. It’s super impressive how well she Remembers details week to week, gives great advice, is not judgmental and leaves us feeling so much better.

This doctor caused far more damage than good.
