Edna Idehen, NP

Edna was nice and listened to my concerns, but she seemed very inexperienced with ADHD patients. She prescribed me 10 mg, 18 mg, and then 25 mg of Atomoxetine over a two-month period, even though the common starting dosage for adults is 40 mg for a few days and then 80 mg. When I told her that my symptoms were not improving after taking the 25 mg for over a month, she offered to lower my dosage. If a patient is telling you that 25 mg of Atomoxetine doesn't improve their symptoms, you increase the dosage, not lower it! That's just common sense. She also always seemed like she could never remember what medications and dosages she prescribed me, even though she should have that information documented. Overall, she lacked confidence and seemed like she didn't really know what she was doing.
