Dismissive, Demeaning, and Arrogant
Telehealth
I hated my interaction with Ed Worsman. I met with yesterday. He was very demeaning, dismissive, and arrogant. He acted like he did not believe I had ADHD, regardless of just being tested by an actual Psychologist (not just a nurse, like him) of the same company he works for!! He also took it upon himself to diagnose me with General Anxiety Disorder (according to my chart here on the Lifestance website) after talking to me for only 10 minutes, even though I sat with the Psychologist for HOURS talking, answering questions, and doing testing, and they did not diagnose me with that. Additionally, when I mentioned that I couldn't remember the testing doctor's pronouns, he sort of chuckled and rolled his eyes and said he didn't know them, which felt very transphobic.

Bad Experience
He was very demeaning and dismissive of my concerns. He asked if I had been diagnosed as a child and when I said no he began belittling me, making me feel as if I were wasting his time. At one point he even said that a person could be in front of 2nd graders and point out all who have adhd and I was not it. I found that comment to be unprofessional. I felt like I was being talked at and not listened to, and his definition of adhd felt very dated and biased. All of the other reviews encompass what I felt in the session as well.

Avoid at all costs
Extremely demeaning and dismissive. Did not want to medicate my ADHD at all, and when he did, he refused to listen to me when I told him it worsened my POTS and did nothing for the ADHD. Every telehealth visit felt like I was being strung along for 15 minutes so he could brush off my symptoms and collect my $200. And after he refuses to provide any help, he throws a group therapy referral in my face and then I'm out the door. He should not be in psychiatry because he does everything he can to not practice it. Currently on a waitlist to see someone else.

Dismissive and distrustful
Mr. Worsman was immediately dismissive of my ADHD diagnosis and was very unprofessional in his demeanor. I had scheduled to discuss medication options with a professional and instead I was told to “be more organized”. Mr. Worsman repeatedly belittled my description of my anxiety symptoms. He stated that he does not know if he can believe that I have ADHD, despite the fact that I have records of a diagnosis back to middle school. When I discussed that I have dealt with traumatic events that contribute to my anxiety, he told me that he thinks PTSD has become a buzzword and that he would know because he was in the military. This felt unprofessional and was a distressing shift in conversation. This may explain why I felt I was being interrogated and not listened to. Mr. Worsman behaved like I was wasting his time from the start of the meeting. You should not waste your time on him if you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, or ADHD

Edward quickly dismissed all my concerns regarding attention deficiency. He was very quick to assume, very belittling when I addressed certain things and prescribed me medicine for my anxiety that made me disgustingly MORE anxious and depressed. I have since seen another Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and the appointment I had with them was like night and day compared to my appointment with Edward. I have now been accurately treated for ADHD, which has decreased my anxiety and I have a whole new outlook on life. Stay away from Edward Worsman and find help elsewhere.

This provider is one I do not believe should be practicing. I was so shocked by him that I actually felt the need to report him. Now, I have worked in healthcare for many years, have been around healthcare my whole life, and an going to be going to medical school soon. He repeatedly belittled a family member over the course of an hour. I believe he has biases that play heavily on his judgment and subsequently the quality of care he provides. He told my family member that she was of low intelligence and on a scale of 1-10 she was a 3. There is a long list of things that I would qualify as 'not appropriate'. Another would be questioning her driving record, telling her she wasn't 'trying hard enough', and asking what her husband thought of her behavior. She was being evaluated for ADHD when two other providers have already agreed on that diagnosis. Additionally, he kept saying things like he has a degree and is $180,000 in debt and she has a high school diploma and Google.
