I had eight treatments with Dr Shen over a three week period and my back was worse at the end than at the beginning. This was true for each individual treatment and for all of them taken together. Each day I hobbled into Dr Shen's office on my own but had to be assisted by the doctor and by my husband on leaving. Turns out I had a fractured spine all along. Weeks later, I got surgery. The acupuncture treatments not only were truly painful, they delayed finding the ultimate solution by three weeks.At one hundred fifty dollars for the first treatment and one hundred ten for the next seven, I wasted almost a thousand dollars. Dr Shen is not an MD with additional training in acupuncture, therefore my Medicare refused to reimburse me. After this experience, I see why they have this rule.

She is professional but caring and pleasant. Listens to what I say as she takes my pulse, etc. I'm so relaxed I actually nap even with needles in body.

Dr. Elaine is wonderful, a true healer. Very patient and listens to your concerns with great compassion. Spends as much time with you as you need, never feel rushed. Gentle with the treatments. I feel 100% after a treatment.
