My child saw her for performance anxiety. She has several major performances coming soon, her professor recommended to talk to doctor for a low dose Beta-blocker. It did not matter how much we explain to her about the situation, she just said you don't have heart disease and I cannot give you this medication. She referred her to psychologist. Yes, we understand psychology consult with behavior modification therapy is needed, but it takes time to be effective, and her performance is on the way
