Elizabeth Caruthers made me profoundly uncomfortable from Moment One of my treatment with her in profound and irreversible ways. First, upon initially meeting with her in her office, in mid-consult, she suddenly, inexplicably dropped to the floor and started doing push-ups. I thought: Wait a minute! What's this? What is this woman doing? What is this person doing to me? She is supposed to be a professional, she is supposed to be Professional, here, now, and at all times. Elizabeth Caruthers is not. At ALL. At ANY time, as I saw, further, when she informed me, second and last session (thank goodness!) that, upon asking what was best to eat, based on a special needs diet, that I should "Do your own homework," meaning: Instead of just simply helpfully effectively informing me, right then and there, as to what is diet-beneficial, she "recommended" that I find what I needed, on my own. Which I did without ANY help nor guidance from her. She called me weeks later: "I am available." For what?
