Elizabeth Hill-Nishimura was my DOR counselor. She threatened to suspend my services if I did not meet her for an in-person meeting, which I explained was extremely difficult due to my disability. The meeting was 5 minutes tops, and could have been an email. It is upsetting and concerning that someone like this is able to work around vulnerable populations. Many disabled people are bedbound and would not be able to make an in-person meeting. The idea that this would result in them losing crucial services is incredibly disturbing.
