Very intelligent. But aloof. I was young when I worked with her and thought that was just how therapists are. Kind of like an old school psychoanalytic vibe. At the time it intimidated but impressed me. I didn’t get far in treatment but assumed that was all on me. Then I moved away and later started seeing an actual analyst who is incredibly warm and empathic. I’m making the most out therapy now, and looking back realize it wasn’t all on me after all. At the end of the day, your experiences may differ. If you’re looking for a therapist who’s insightful but you don’t want to get emotionally attached, and you aren’t ready to deal with someone who exudes caring feelings toward you, then she may be a great fit.
