As Director of the prestigious William Alanson White Institute, I think Dr. Krimendahl needs to address two very important issues. The first challenge, which is partly economic in nature, is why analysts are advertising CBT on their websites. One specialty took 5 years, the second 6 months. Surely it implies that the highly focused CBT is more effective than “the last depth therapy.” (I think psychoanalysis is really “the last shallow” therapy; it’s meandering and prone to exaggerate small points). The second challenge is the #MeToo movement. Lawyers are advertising for victims of sexual abuse, seeking large settlements. Soon psychotherapists will be added to the list. I suggest The White Institute require its members to sign an annual conduct statement specifically addressing possible sexual misconduct. The Institute might also set up a registry to identify offenders. The Legislature may require perpetrators to register as sex offenders. This is Dr. Krindahl's second 1* review

Not a pleasant first experience in speaking to her over the phone. She was curt and not warm.
