Elizabeth Schlesinger, APRN

Switched to Elizabeth as my primary care provider recently and it's working out well. I feel like she's actually listening to my concerns and working with me to address them. Much better than Mass General where there is no compassion or empathy. CHA is my favorite primary care practice in the Boston area, everyone is great from the providers to the administrative staff.

I had a telehealth apt. to address a back injury/pain lasting for ~6 wks. Overall her tone was patronizing - possibly because I am a young female, although I can't make assumptions. She asked zero questions during the visit, aside from if I had tried NSAIDs, ice, and heat (which I had). She quickly came to the conclusion of muscle strain (which may be the true cause - my issue is with her carelessness with diagnosing). I asked her if she felt sure of it, and she replied, "well I don't know, I'm not a human X-Ray" - utterly disrespectful. I am disappointed by my apt. Elizabeth, I would not recommend seeing her for anything that requires questioning or serious attention. While I understand telehealth is difficult for physician and patient, I personally find it unacceptable to disrespect a patient like this.
