If you like waiting 1hr+ to be called back into a room, sitting for most of the appointment while your CARE PROVIDER’s phone rings and she answers texts (without apologizing), and then (even after 5+ visits with her) she doesn’t remember who you are or what your care plan is…then this is the provider for you. I honestly don’t know why she has in person appointments when she stares at the computer screen or is on her phone the ENTIRE appointment. I will say, though, if you’re just looking for referrals to specialty care clinics then she’s great. Doesn’t ask any questions, doesn’t do any kind of exam, just types it up and sends it off. Torn between finding someone new that I like and actually treats me, and just continuing to use her to get referrals to places I know I’ll get care. Wish she could at least try to act more professional about her blatant ignorance of individual patients and their care plans. **FRONT OFFICE AND NURSING STAFF HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AMAZING**

Horrible care. I saw Ellen McLaurin twice and will never come back. In my initial visit I explained that I had some symptoms I was worried about so she had me go get a blood test and an ultrasound. At my follow up she talked about my other medications with me and tried to hang up without discussing my test results. When I pointed it out for her she said “they didn’t tell me you were here for a follow up” and glazed over the results without giving me any next steps. After all that they scheduled 2 separate appointments for me that I did not agree to after I told them I would not be coming back. After all that, she never sent in my prescription. I am out of it and the office is closed. I need the prescription so I don’t know what to do. I am trying to call on the nurse answering service but can’t get through. Additionally, they call you over an hour before your appointment to make you get online! Some people have schedules. I would understand up to 20 minutes, but an hour both times?
