Valentines Candy
The NMA meant well, but ultimately she deprived me of the opportunity to show my initiative. This left me no other recourse for being earnest; the candy was purchased two days prior. (There's proof of that.) You need to stop blaming her and the others in your office, because regardless of whatever happened your emotions are ingrained and will never likely differ. I don't see it any other way. Best of luck to you!
