Nurse practitioner Emily Schnurstein and her medical assistant Fawn did an excellent job on a fully body skin exam for me. I have had skin cancer before. Emily examined my skin areas with her light / magnifying glass and Fawn typed in resulting findings into a computer. Emily knew the name of all moles and lesions and spoke to me about them. All areas were checked. Due to surgery I just had, Emily had to contort herself like a pretzel to check some areas. It took 25 minutes. No biopses needed. I left with a printout of all findings with names of all moles and lesions. Skin care information and recommended products were included. Emily and Fawn make a highly competent pair and run a very professional operation. The past two MD dermatologists did a quick job and did not cover all areas and one made me make two appointments – one above waist and other below waist. To get 30 min with Emily provided me the detail and expertise that such exams require.

Dr. Schnurstein is very knowledgeable, does a thorough analysis, is very patient and does not rush the patients. Following a highly, interactive discussion, Dr. Schnurstein provides the best course of treatment and next steps. I would highly recommend this doctor for consultation and treatment.
