Lunch is more important than patients.
I arrived for my appointment just two minutes past the designated grace period and was refused service. This strict policy not only lacks empathy but also disregards the realities of daily life that can cause minor delays.The staff's rigid enforcement of the grace period was disheartening and left me feeling undervalued as a patient. In a profession that should prioritize patient care and understanding, this experience was a stark reminder that customer service can sometimes fall short and did in this instance as I canceled my husband and son’s upcoming appointments. I as a teacher have to work through many plannings and lunches due to my students being a priority. Hopefully Heaps understands the value of others peoples time as well as his own, as I have sat and waited more than 12 minutes to be seen by him in the past but customers are always at a disadvantage and cannot hold their own grace policies.

Dr. Heaps was very nice, easily met, and very precise/thorough with my eye exam. I liked his manner and professionalism. Glad that we (wife and I) discovered his practice.
