Dr Ellis is like a non-pareil candy, hard and tough but, fair and sweet! She softened my heart when I went for elective psychotherapy in 1987 and faced my demons- like shoplifting as a teenager (never caught, though). She gave me food for life because she taught me how to fish rather than giving me a fish. I owe her a debt of gratitude. I needed her and she let me off the hook so, I blamed her for my problems. I was blind but, now I see, like Oedipus Rex!

Dr Erica Ellis is non judgmental and is very caring and genuine. She gives it to you straight forward, & no sugar coating anything. She wants the best for me as her client and listens very carefully to everything I say. Ive never doubted any of her professional decisions for me. Ive been working with her since March or April this year and I have made huge leaps (that I never thought I would be able to take) in such a short amount of time.

Dr Ellis has been my psychologist for many years. I have anxiety and depression. She has always help me put my concerns into perspective in a caring and professional way. I never know when my anxiety or depression will become overwhelming, when this happens I know I can turn to her for help no matter where I am. I have even had phone appts with her when I am away. She has always made me feel that my concerns/fears are important to her. I am so glad I have such a wonderful doctor.

I have known Dr. Ellis for about five years, from the time I started counseling. She's been my therapist for three years, then I took two years "off", and am now back! She has helped me tremendously and I am grateful to have found a person who is so skilled, non-judgmental and supportive. She has helped me to frame specific issues in a different way, so as to address them with more success than previously. She is authentic and direct, but in a kind way. Her secretary is great, too.

I had used her before for one child and the experience was fine. Went back with a younger child and was totally turned off. While I was meeting with her to find out want was going on with my child, Erica answered her cell phone. It was very dismissive. My child didn't really like her either. We did not go back.
